THE JOURNALIST LIKE A
TAYLOR
" The events that take place are
the yarn, the news becomes the fabric, the material. The
reader is the only true buyer, he who orders a piece of
clothing and in the end expects to wear it in his own
desired style and colors ...
Therefore, a journalist is the tailor, he who makes the
article to wear in the fit size!
However, with the legitimate psychology which he deems
necessary, introduces the appropriate changes proposing them
to his customer/reader, persuading him to think that he had
personally requested them.
... with the duty, the desire and the need to be read by
certain readers, in certain newspapers, with certain styles
and trends but in any case, with a subtle, free capability
to write the truth in spite of everything and in spite of
everybody but ...exactly ... with subtlety!"
